The book storage department ensures the organization, storage, management and use of the library fund.
Distributes newly received publications to the structural divisions of the library and to the methodological rooms at the departments, distributes literature for book exhibitions, works with refusals for literature, writes off documents from the library fund.
Fulfills applications for publications available in the fund in a single copy, issues literature from the book storage fund to service departments and reading rooms according to Requirement Sheets.
The book storage department contains the main fund of the library’s literature in all branches of knowledge:
- educational;
- methodical;
- scientific;
- Proceedings of the University, the largest universities of industry institutes and the National Academy of Sciences;
- dissertations;
- local history;
- rare books.
