The journals of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan are a list of scientific publications recommended by the Committee for Quality Assurance in Science and Higher Education of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Such journals have some credibility in the research world, but they are less influential than those indexed in international databases. To achieve most scientific goals, the minimum number of required publications is indicated in the publications of the KOKSNVO.
