Abstracts: In the Web of Science Core Collection (WoS CC), an abstract, multidisciplinary database of scientific literature, four types of search are available: basic and advanced, by author and in bibliography. At the webinar, we will consider the features of each search and find answers to frequently asked questions: is this document or journal indexed in WoS CC, what impact factor and quartile of the journal, where to publish for free, how many articles in journals with an impact factor does a given organization or country have for a certain period time, in which journals there are more works of a certain organization or country and how to save these lists, what Hirsch index this scientist has, in which journals and by whom my articles published in a journal that is not included in the Web of Science Core Collection are cited, which areas are funded by this grantor, whether compatriots received grants from this fund. Abstracts: It is essential for research organizations that their scientists are correctly represented in the authors’ public profiles, which show important professional achievements. In addition, such profiles are useful for filling internal information systems with verified and verified information, regardless of the type of data: scientific publications, citations, reviews, or membership in editorial boards.
On August 18, Publons profiles were moved to Web of Science. However, the free version of the Researcher Profile will be available even if the institution/researcher does not have access to Web of Science.
