Topic: Citations, citations, links and their importance for scientists and science.
Abstract: At the webinar, we will analyze how citations appeared and why they are necessary in the scientific world, what they indicate and how they can be used. We will analyze citations of works indexed in Web of Science, consider related publications and analyze citations of non-indexed literature. We will discuss indicators and metrics related to citations, and consider whether it is possible to influence the indicators. Answers to frequently asked questions: why do different databases have different Hirsch indices, which one is correct, how to increase it, and others. Answers to questions from registration forms.
