Abstract: The webinar will cover the purpose and objectives of publishing a scientific article and why publishing in publications indexed in the Web of Science helps a scientist’s career. How to choose publications for publication, what to pay attention to, what metrics exist, where to look for them, what additional identifiers can be found in Journal Citation Reports. Business models of journals and the opportunity to publish for free. We will analyze the unfair methods used by fraudsters who manipulate the features of open access and the gullibility and ignorance of scientists to offer publications in predatory publications, causing irreparable harm to the reputation of the scientist and his organization. We will check the indexation of the journal in the Master Journal List. We will answer questions from the registration forms.
