The library received as a gift from the “Kazakhstan Association of Urbanists Q88″ a set of books “Standard for the integrated development of the territories of the Republic of Kazakhstan.”This standard consists of 6 books and 4 catalogs and covers a wide range of issues regarding the urban environment and housing from the parameters of street blocks to the layouts of individual apartments.Each book addresses a specific aspect of designing a comfortable urban environment.There are also books on master planning, land development, development of empty areas, development of requirements for the street front, and so on.

As part of the celebration of the 70th anniversary of the university and the Day of Science Workers, the library prepared the exhibition “Университетғылымыныңдамуы – Қазақстанныңинновациялықдамуыныңқажеттіалғышарты “, which presented monographs, textbooks, teaching aids prepared by university teachers, as well as interuniversity collections of scientific articles,scientific journals and science fiction literature.

Abstracts: In response to the increased requirements for publications put forward by regulatory authorities, a large number of predatory journals have appeared that fraudulently use the principles of open access to mislead scientists, receive payment and publish either in weak editions or fake journals, causing significant damage to the reputation of the scientist,its organizations and countries.At the webinar, we will look at the main tricks used by predators and how to avoid mistakes when choosing a journal for publication
