International Foundation of Development of Science and Education (IFDSE) in cooperation with “Инфра-М” (“Infra-M”) corporate group announces
First “Academus” International Scientific and Educational Publications Competition
Purpose of the competition – to demonstrate achievements in science, engineering and education, presented in monographs and textbooks, to attract readers to research results, reveal new talented authors to wide public and stimulate them to further scientific research.
Entries can be admitted from April 1, 2016 to August 1, 2016. High-profile award ceremony will be held in September, 2016.
General terms
1. At the competition can be presented original scientific or educational works written in Russian or in English, as well as author’s translations of works written originally in other languages. Formerly published works can be admitted, as well as not yet published. Size of a work must be not less than 5 and not more than 40 author pages. Participation is free.
2. Right of nomination can belong only to authors of a work, i.e.:
- Copyright was not ceded to another publishing house or treaty with another publishing house has expired;
- The work is written not as part of duty assignment.
3. Works participating in competition cannot be published in other publishing houses before announcement of competition results and declaring winners. Organizing committee has the right to expel such works from the competition.
4. Each author can submit any number of works to competition.

Also there is a special prize for book industry employees, who promote popularization and spreading of scientific and educational literature.
Arrangements for competition
1. Authors present the whole work in digital or printed form. In case of winning win the competition the publishing house may request a printed copy for production.
2. Manuscripts must be sent in file formats *.doc, *.docx or *.rtf, size of a file – not more than 10 Mb. In attached letter author should note nomination and imprint of previous edition, if that book published earlier.
3. Authors present information about each member of author collective:
- Surname, name, patronymic;
- Place of work, job position;
- E-mail and phone number.
Materials must be sent to derikova_ta@infra-m.ru with a mark “«Academus» Competition”. If author is going to present printed work, they should send an e-mail with information about authors.
4. Manuscript appraisal is performed by expert jury, which consists of notable scientists, famous specialists of sciences and arts, professionals of book industry.
5. Prize winners will be awarded with diplomas and special prizes. “Infra-M” publishing house will offer to winners of all nominations entering into a contract for publication of their works. In this case winner will get:
• Opportunity of free publication of their work on the base of any of 11 corporate group publishing houses, including Academus Publishing (USA);
• Royalty from sales of printed and digital copies of the work;
• Opportunity to raise Hirsch Index, participating in Infra-M Citation program;
• The work will get DOI identifier, the author will get ORCID, and metadata of the work will be distributed in CrossRef and RSCI.
The publishing house absorbs all expenses of publishing and promoting of the publication; guarantees publication continuous availability in the market for educational organizations and for individual customers.
At this competition will be defined the best of the best in book publishing and library services. We wait for your works!
