This year marks the 150th anniversary of the birth of Akhmet Baitursynov, the teacher of the nation, Turkic studies, the figure of Alash, the reformer of national writing, the basis of the science of the Kazakh language and literature.
Baitursynuly was a brilliant writer, teacher, linguist. He transformed the Kazakh console based on Arabic script, making it possible to use the interests of millions of Kazakhs living abroad. In 1912, Ahmet Baitursynuly excluded all purely Arabic letters not used in the Kazakh language and added letters specific to the Kazakh language. The newly formed, called ” ЖаңаЕмле ” (“New spelling”), still joined the Kazakhs living in China, Afghanistan, Iran.
