Abstract: Today we are seeing an increase not only in the number of published journals, but also in questionable publishing practices. In addition, various threats to research integrity are on the rise, including paper mills, image manipulation, and the potential for misuse of artificial intelligence.
Ensuring research integrity is a collaborative effort among research institutions, researchers, funders, publishers, and database providers. Each of them must take steps to ensure the validity, accuracy and overall validity of scientific results.
