A reading conference was held as part of the campaign “One country – one book”. The conference was co-organized by “History of Kazakhstan” department.
Shakarim Kudaiberdiyev’s works, Bauyrzhan Momyshuly’s “Ұшқан ұя”, Nemat Kelimbetov’s “Үмiт үзгiм келмейдi” were chosen as the books of 2018. These are very different books, but what they have in common is the authors’ hard life, their ability to overcome difficulties.
Participants of the conference told about Nemat Kelimbetov’s life and work, shared impressions about his book and made a book exhibition.
