Theses: There are more than 8 million scientists in the world, among whom there are many namesakes.
Sometimes scientists change their last name, or the transliteration has changed, or an error has been made. All this significantly complicates the presentation of the results of scientific activity and their correct assessment. At the webinar, we will analyze: • what is an author‘s profile in the Web of Science and why do I need a ResearcherID?; • how author profiles are created in the Web of Science; • how publications are linked to the author‘s profile; • how to work with the spelling variants of the author‘s name; • Typical questions and common misconceptions about author profiles; • practical recommendations for ensuring the correct display of publications • available metrics and how to interpret them • answers to questions from the registration forms
