September 8th
Topic: Artificial intelligence in scientific activity: practical tools for researchers
Theses: Generative services and artificial intelligence have penetrated into all areas of our lives, and science is no exception. In recent years, new services have appeared and are appearing daily that help to find, analyze, summarize scientific information, propose solutions, draw conclusions, and correctly process results and grant applications. This speeds up many processes, but does it add free time to the scientist? The use of AI raises many social and ethical issues. In the case of using AI as an assistant, who is considered the author of a scientific work? How is the assessment of the role of a scientist and his contribution to a scientific publication changing? Where is the line in using AI for scientific activities? Will AI replace scientists? What are the challenges for the scientific community (not)using AI?
At the webinar, we will look at some of the services, their capabilities and limitations. We will also talk about the use of AI in Clarivate resources on the Web of Science platform, from the suggestion of terms and recommended publications to the Smart Search Web of Science Research Assistant to the new Web of Science Research Intelligence analytical system. Your questions about the webinar topic in the registration form will not remain unanswered.
