September 29th
Topic: From scientific results to real change: how to demonstrate the impact of research
Theses: In the modern research environment, scientific influence is no longer limited to publications and citation rates. Universities, research organizations, grant givers, and government agencies are increasingly seeking concrete evidence of how research results contribute to the development of society, stimulate innovation, and help address global challenges.
At the webinar, we will look at how scientific excellence, reflected in highly cited publications and achievements of leading researchers, is transformed into real results beyond the academic environment. Special attention will be paid to new data and analytical indicators that make it possible to track the impact of research through its use in patents and regulatory documents, linking scientific achievements with innovations and decision-making processes.
Using practical examples, participants will learn how to move from assessing scientific impact to demonstrating measurable social and economic impact of research, supporting the strategic development of the organization, reporting and interaction with key stakeholders.
