Topic: How to format a manuscript according to a journal’s requirements using EndNote
Abstract: There are more than 7,000 journal formatting styles for publications. Each journal follows its own style and does not accept articles that are not formatted accordingly. Formatting a manuscript to match a selected journal’s requirements is time-consuming and may lead to technical errors, some of which may later be classified as unintentional plagiarism. In this webinar, we will review reference list formatting styles used in scientific journals; explain what EndNote is, how it works, and how to configure it as a reference manager; show how to create and populate your own publication library; demonstrate the use of Cite While You Write™ to format a manuscript according to a required style; explain where to find information on which reference style a selected journal requires; and answer questions submitted in the registration forms.
