Urban planning, construction works and civil engineering
Urban planning and civil engineering are two different fields in the construction industry. Urban planning is an area of architecture responsible for the layout of a city or district. It determines how the infrastructure will be provided, where the parks will be, what number of floors the houses will have, the width of the roads, and so on. Civil engineering is a construction industry engaged in the design and construction of civil facilities. These include bridges, highways and railways, airports, industrial enterprises, residential buildings and administrative buildings, hotels, and others. Thus, urban planning rarely performs construction work directly, and the responsibilities of specialists in this field include building planning and author‘s supervision of the construction or reconstruction process.
