Sanitary and preventive measures
Sanitary and preventive measures are a system of ongoing sanitary and hygienic, therapeutic and preventive, veterinary and sanitary, communal and administrative measures aimed at preventing infectious diseases. These measures are aimed at: eliminating or reducing the harmful effects of environmental factors on humans; preventing the occurrence and spread of infectious diseases and mass non-communicable diseases (poisoning); and eliminating them. Control over the implementation of sanitary and preventive measures is carried out by a network of institutions and organizations of the sanitary and epidemiological service.
